My barber dime got me thinking of all the die cracks that at one time could be mistaken for RPMs. The big date for this was 1952-D cents. Does anybody collect these? Or think they are neat? I have one legimate RPM that also has the die crack! Well, if anyone is interested, here's some examples I have collected over the years.
I have included a close up of the legitimate 1952-D RPM (serifs) that had some crazy stuff done to it! Not sure what kind of error to call it.
