CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    2010-P AR 25c DDR's

So here's a few varieties I've found while searching through the new 2010-P Arkansas 25c bags.
Two varieties with doubling on the date. One with clearly farther seperation than the other. The third variety has doubling evident only on EPU. Interestingly enough I am so used to viewing rasied metal, for the nat'l parks quarters, all the lettering and date located near the rim of the coin is incuse instead of raised as per normal.

    Cool loking coins.

Send them to James Wiles or John Wexler for attribution and report back with the results.

Oops. I forgot which forum I was on!

I believe this type of doubling on the incuse lettering on recent state quarters has been identified as Machine Doubling, clearly with a different look to it. I have not seen an example in hand yet, but from Billy Crawford's explanation and pictures I am inclined to agree it is MD as opposed to Class VIII Hub Doubling.
