CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Nice upgrade for my Mercury Dime Variety Set

    Grades just in from PCGS on my second 1945-S/ Horizontal S.
    It graded XF45 and replaces my F15. (total population at PCGS 1-MS60, 2-XF45, and 1-F15.

    Here is an image of the mint mark.

      BJ, I could only hope to find one in the wild. The person I purchased it from knew what they had. I am happy to have it even at what I had to pay. Many of the varieties in my set were picked, but there are some that just are too tough and you have to take what you get.
