CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1907 Cents Double Dies Obv & Rev.

    Looks to me that is a very easy to tell they are double.
    May be New? Opinion Please. Thanks.

    You've got a repunched 7 on the obverse. The minor doubling on the reverse is not a doubled die. It doesn't appear to be Longacre doubling, so I'm not sure what type it is.

      This die is listed as RPD-004 by Kevin Flynn.While your coin shows just the 9 and the 7 being repunched, the 1 digit has also been repunched.

      As Mike pointed out, it does not appear to be a doubled die or is it Longacre's doubling, so it very well could be isolated machine doubling.

        For the doubling on the reverse, I suspect minor damage or chipping involving the working hub.

          Thank you! Gentlemen for all the inputs. I had seem some RPD in the same year from images but it wasn't off that much exspecialy the '7'. Is it a good keeper? Thanks again.
