Excellent pictures. I do not think it is die # 1, it appears that the rotation of the doubling is wrong for that die.
Without seeing any of the die markers, it is hard to attribute a doubled die on just pictures of the doubling alone.

Here are some "quick snaps" of the few die markers I can find. The pics are not the best as they are single shots mostly held at angles to get the shadowing right on the markers. The coin is VEDS/EDS, so the dies have not seen much wear or damage yet. Other than these few small gouges and scratches there are no other significant markers I can find...Ray
