            1939S/D jefferson

the coin looks like a genuine error. S/D maybe but it looks more like an S/S/S. i've collected jeffs now for twenty plus now and have most of the books just for jeffs. if it was a 39 with the 38 reverse, the stairs would be just a blur with only one or two steps showing on the right side. this coin has steps on both sides and mashed out in the center. very nice coin
