    Hello,
I am writing to let you all know that I found a new die for the 1988-P Transitional die for the RDV-006. You could go to www.varietyvista.com to see my coin there. I was so shocked that I found this extremely rare coin and James Wiles said it was the second one found for the P mint.

    Thank you,

    Patrick Gaughan

I saw the news Patrick and congratulations. Join the club. There are four of us now that have found one. Are you going to have ICG slab the coin? If so please post pics when you get it back. Thanks, David.

Patrick, I'm not sure if you are aware of it but one of these variety coins is being auctioned on Ebay. The auction ends today! The ending bid will give you an idea of what your find might be worth. Go to the ebay site and search
      RDV-006.

        David,
I found mine in Pennsylvania...I am in the Northeastern part. I was really shocked to have found it I looked at 100's of 1988's and not found one until the one I found.
