2004 Lincoln Penny, wide extra column on reverse
I as able to rule out it being any sort of like bubbling effect but theres is still a lot of other worthless errors that can happen to produce this effect. It does look like an extra partial column to the east of the building but I can't see how it would happen in that kind of position. I think back to the 1934 DDO where there is partials of the 3 and 4 well beneath the actual date from accidental wrong positioning setting of the die/master hub, I'm not sure on the exact terminology but you get my meaning. When I changed the lighting to a black and white it did produce an image with much better detail making it appear to just "maybe" being an extra column. I have high doubts but take a look and tell me what you think. I'll post more pics if askedTags: None

With single-squeeze hubbing, I'd think with something this far from the center it'd take some pretty radical motion of the dies during the hubbing process for this to be a doubling. Could be a very interestingly placed die gouge, or air/zinc corrosion bubble as has been said, but I'll happily defer to someone with more experience with modern lincoln ddr's if someone else has a more solid feeling of what this is.
