  • 1755 HA 10 Kreuzer 5/4 unlisted overdate

Gotta love these old "colonial" coins...this 1755 HA 10 Kreuzer from Austria, on closer inspection reveals a distinct 4 under the last 5 in date..not finding a list of varieties for this particular denomination, so, any ideas, send them along..I'd like to send this to Ken Potter for an attribution, as it may be a new listing? Most coins I see online at world coin stores show the date running across the Pedestal..my coin, it is on the rim, after SPERAVI...also, I see a minor difference in the obverse legend lettering..I see listed coins(NGC world search site), as having this order, KM#2023..my weight is 3.70 grams. Made of Silver.
    Obverse Legend: FRANC D G R IMP S A G ER IER REX LO B M H D
    While my coin FRANC D G R IMP S A GE IER REX LO B M H D
The overdate is quite nice. IF this is a 4 underneath, the lower stem pokes out below the bottom of the 5, the middle bar pokes out through the upper bottom loop of 5, and the right portion of the crossbar of 4 is at right, center of the 5.
    Thanks
    Calvin
