    1943-D RPM and Double Date

I saw a 1943-D Steel Lincoln penny today that was awesome. First, it was uncirculated with a sharp strike. Then the Denver mintmark was repunched. The primary D was about 20% of the width of the D to the East horizontally. The primary D was about 5% of the height of the D to the South in the verticle direction.

BUT, when you turn the coin on a 45% angle to the light source (left side of coin closer to you) one can clearly see another 1, 9, and 4 above the 1, 9, and 4 of the date. It was what I would call a ghost date because when you look head on at the coin the "ghost" date is extremely hard to see. The 1 in the "ghost" date was almost completely separate from the actual 1 in the date. The 9 was attached to the 9 in the actual date but very close to the end of the bottom point of the "ghost" 9 touching the upper right curve of the date 9 @ about 1 oclock.

I haven't found any 1943-D RPM's with the described attributes. I will try to get photos.
