    1959 Plain Franklin Half DDO?

I see some good signs that I might be holding a 1959 plain Franklin Half DDO. Attached are the best photos my equipment can get of this proof half. I appreciate any input on this coin. It is hard to capture the finer details because of the shiny surface.

It is from a proof set containing all 5 coins produced by the philadelphia mint for that year.

    Mike

I know it can be tough to get good pictures of proofs, and I find it hard to see subtle DDs on them too. All I can say is that I don't see much on the word IN, and there might be something above TRUST, but I can't quite tell from the pics.

It is hard to get the light on the doubling above the characters. The coin would have gone right past me if I had not seen the distortion in GOD. Here is a photo of the distortion.

You could be right, but I don't know the Franklin design well enough to say for sure. If you have other coins handy on a similar nature (Franklins, and proofs would be best), try comparing them. That's how I found a DDO Washington quarter a couple weeks back.
