1970-S Serif S mint mark Lincoln Cent?

I found this coin and it looks to have a Serif S mint mark compared to a Tall mint mark that is the only mint mark supposed to be found on this date of coin. Here are pics of my coin and a Tall S coin. Are they different?

They're the same mintmark. The example on the left had the MM punch penetrate more deeply than the one on the right. Circulation wear has also altered the appearance of the one on the right.
