CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Cool!

It looks similar to #11, however, it still doesn't look exactly the same. You might should send some pics to Mr. Wexler and see what he says. I wish I had your luck. I think I know why you say you are the Nickel Trail Die King, if I put 2 and 2 together with your middle initial. Some of those are really sweet finds.

Thanks Jay, Im sure my coin is not the same die as the doubled dies listed. At times Im very good at details. My coin shows a lower doubling from the similar dies, but thank you anyways . Also Im the King of the Nickel Trail dies because I work hard at it and focus. The main reason is, I really enjoy doing it!!

I love Jeffersons. They are my favorite coins. I am glad you take the time to search for these cool errors. A thanks goes out to you for all those contributions, as I am always trying to find them also and I know if I find one I have a good chance of finding a pic to compare with thanks to T. Davis.

See if any die markers match up. If not, send it in.
