CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    1970-D DDR-006 - Washington Quarter

I think I have found 1970-D DDR-006. There is a thread from 2010 where a member here, 19lyds, discovered this die. Thanks go to him for starting the thread. If not I wouldn't have had any pics to go by. Here is the link to the thread: http://board.conecaonline.org/showthread.php?t=2830.

Also, the clash from arrow tip to wing is present, but polished. It is described for stage C (LDS) on variety vista. UNITED, QUARTER, & the clash is what led me to search for pics of 006. What do you guys think & if you need any other pics let me know. Thanks all!

One more. Don't want to overload the thread.

It is most likely a doubled die since the notching is apparent. If you can match the die markers, then it is die # 6.
