1964-d penny die clash or garage coin ?

Before I bother the experts with a submission thought I would try asking if anyone has an opinion on this coin.
I have been searching for die clashes until I can see them on every coin, but this one if not made in a garage could be what I was looking for.
Trying to see the ghost of the reverse on the obverse then flipping the legends, my mind just will not hold the images long enough, so if you can see convincing proof either way please share it with me as to if this is a die clash or is not.
    Thanks really

It's a lamination error (i.e., flaking, peeling metal).
