1989 d penny Die Trial or struck through ?

This coin has some interesting stuff in the field. Could it be the clashed die I keep looking for ? Or is it just a struck through coin ? I would be happy to have a Die trial....

Struck through die fill ("grease") on both faces, but more extensively on the obverse. The well-developed design rim, broad flat edge, and unequal coverage on the two faces tells you it's not a weak strike.
