  • 2004-S Kennedy Half DDO?

I wanted to know if this coin is a DDO? To me the coin exhibits a DDO and also Mechanical Doubling. "IGWT" looks to have small splits (arrows in the pictures will show what I am talking about). The G in "GOD" looks like it has extra metal on the inside making it look like two solid G's. I know that proof coins are pressed more than once and that is the reason for the Mechanical Doubling which is mostly on the letters of the word "LIBERTY." About the date: the 2 looks MD, both 0's have flatness on the inside, but not really shelf like plus they have valley's in the top right of each 0 which are not flat. Bottom of the 4 looks shelf like but top looks like it has splits/valleys. In the word "LIBERTY" the R looks to have been polished making it look thin where the right leg comes out. I have compared this to another coin with same year/denomination/mint and they are completely different. I'm also not sure about the mint mark. If more pictures are needed I can add them. Just tell me what part of the coin you want to see. Thank you for the help!
Edit: Moderator, please move this to the "Mint Error Forum". Thank you!

It all looks like MDD to me. Why would this post be moved to the Mint Error Forum...doesn't it belong in the Die Variety Forum?

I see no splitting of the serifs and it looks shelf like to me. Machine Doubling is what I say

As others have said, it is machine doubling. Try this link for an in-depth explanation.
