  • BUGS BUNNY Franklin PROOF

Hi all, it has been a long time since I stopped by, I hope everyone is well.

I am curious about the bugs bunny Franklin, does it exist or is it known to exist in proof? Whether it is "known" or not, lets suppose I had one, specifically, a 1952 Franklin proof, with fairly bold bugs bunny... (I spotted it plain as day with my naked eye, so it isn't faint by any means). Would that, or is that something worth "attributing" and going through the process of whatever happens when a discovery is made? I know the bugs bunny Franklins are not nearly as popular as they once were, but I have never ever heard anything about a bugs bunny being on a proof Franklin.

Let me know your thoughts. Thank you kindly.

    Chris.

I would say it certainly is worth a look. I am not aware of a proof with the clash. Email James Wiles or Mike Ellis regarding this coin.

Thank you for that info... I actually met Mike at the ANA money show in Portland a month or so ago.... I took the grading class he and Rod taught.... What a character that Mike.... I just looked through my stuff from that class and I only have Rod's email...

Would you be so kind as to give me Mike's email? I would love to touch base with someone on this.. I know for sure that what I found is a 1952 bugs bunny Franklin proof... So far from everyone I have asked, it has never been known to exist in proof. (not to say it doesn't or hasn't before now).

      Thank you again, in advance.

      Chris.
