CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    1954-D DDO

This one is not listed in the eBook, but it is listed on Coppercoins, and DDO #3 is given as the cross reference. This one looks like a type VIII is very similar to 54-S DDO's 2/3/4. Is there a reason this is not yet listed by CONECA?

Ray send the photos to James Wiles. He is really good at getting back to people. His information can be found at www.varietyvista.com

Thanks Ken! I'm gradually imaging coins from my collection and publishing them on my website at:

Image Gallery of unique and high resolution and 3D perspective images taken with MacroCoins photomacrographic equipment and techniques.

I am using a photomacrographic system rather than a microscope. Microscopes can't provide the level of resolution required for good 3D/perspective rendering.
