CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1955 50c FS-402 Clashed Obv & Rev Dies

    Brett Parrish has a 1955 Franklin Half dollar on the Franklin-Lover's web site listed a FS-402. There was no FS-402 put into the book by me or Bill so it appears that Bill gave it the number after the book went to press (he was talking about it).
    So here it is. Franklin-Lovers misses the reverse clash and I thought that would be interesting too. Coin courtesy of Russ James, submitted to me at the 2013 Summer ANA Convention at the CONECA table.
