Thank's richard.I think all the lettering on the reverse is doubled as well,it's just hard to tell because it's in such bad shape. Also I see your building up a nice stack of those Quaters. DO you think the homested one's are really doubledied or are they just die chips? Let me know what you think. PS. HOPE YOUR FEELING GOOD AND EATING RIGHT!

                    Hi Billy
I hate to say it but this does look like machine doubling to me also. As all the doubling has that flat shelf look to it. Yes the coin is in rough shape but looking over all you images I can't see a ddr. But I do like finding even md coins as they do give you in hand a tool to use to judge other finds by.

Thanks again Billy ...you just keep plugging at it til you find gold. Sometimes it takes a while but they are out there.
Funny story about that dime. It was in a mint set of 1964 P & D coins I put together in 1964 I was 10 at the time. I purchased a capital holder to hold the two sets. I started with two Kennedy half's that my father brought home for the bank. I found the holder and checked the 64 D as that was the date and mm that was in question . However no luck so for the heck of it I checked the 64 P and bingo!
