CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 1988-P RDV-006 (Rev. Of '89)

I found this late last night. This is only the second '88-P I've found. Still no '88-Ds. This one matches WTRD-001 Stage B (Wexler), and RDV-006.3 Stage B (CONECA). The image of UNITED shows the marker for Stage B.

That's mighty kind of you Billy. I'd be glad to return the favor, if there is something I could help you with.

Jay I think I might just have found one for you.But it's real ugly and I think it's a grease die or something is going on with the reverse.Check out the FG and you can see a bar on it plus it's close to the memorial, and the M is flat on top not pointed like the normal one should be.Here are some photo's of it tell me what you think.I know the FG is thin and not wide but it does have a horizontal bar like reverse die 006Image566.jpg

Check this one out! It has a die crack running from the inside of the rim all the way up the side of the memorial into the a&m.I think someone polished it out under the a&M.Image572.jpg

Billy, I do believe that the second coin is an RDV-006. The first looks like an 005.
