CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • CONECA 1960D RPM-033

I purchased a few BU Memorial rolls from a local show today. One was a 1960D roll full of RPMs. I pulled 18 RPMs from this roll. This is the best one. I have 4 of these. I was able to id it by the markers on CC as well as the description on CONECA. I believe that it is stage F after the reverse die was changed due to the fact that the reverse looks like a much earlier die state than the obverse. There are no apparent clash marks on the coin. There are also the "light die chips on column #12". There are no apparent markers that would indicate G or H.

Very nice. We give out similar coins to new members when they join CONECA. They are always well received.

I love the one I got when I joined. Thinking of having it slabbed.
