1981- S Type #2 Jefferson Proof nickel RPM ?

Going through some of my proof nickels today I found this. An 1981- S type #2 proof Jefferson that looks to be an RPM. What do you think?

I can't tell for sure. I don't see any previous listing for 1981 - S Type 2 RPM anywhere so if it is then it could be the first one.

Everybody was at the show today, except for me ..
I read some literature after 1994 mint-marks were applied directly to the original model for all U.S. coins thus ending the RPM, so lets see what they say since this is a 1981 ..

Here are some updated images taken with scope blacked out, and a light source from different angles that shot across the coin flat.

notice the red arrows these all are not back scatter but the underlying S. Looking at the coin in hand with a 10 x loop.
