1989 transitional
Hi, I found this coin , and I know DR. WILES retracted his statement about the 89 transitional reverse but this sure looks like the 88 reverse. if you need more pictures let me know. P.S. the pictures were taken with my new Intel-Matel qx3, works great, loved the feed back on my question about it, it only cost me $21.00 and thats w/ shipping from e-bay.Tags: None

Maybe?
Hi all, I own one of the 1988 RDV-006, and have read up on the fact that Dr. Wiles has delisted the 1989 with the 1988 reverse.
Here's one I found that REALLY looks legit, but maybe it's just a weak die or something....

The lines through thee designer's initials show that this die has been abraded. Unfortunately, this is enough to take away some of the detail from the G and have it appear as a RDV-005 when in all probability it is a RDV-006
The only way that we will be able to prove the existence of an RDV-005 on a 1989 Lincoln cent is if someone does run across an EDS, MS-64 and up example that has not been abraded for any reason.
