I'm looking at bays 3 and 4 within the photos provided.
the area between the columns (bays) 3 and 4 seem to have the same angle, and appear to be leaning to the right, and they MIGHT be a tad wider than a normal column.
Without the coin in hand, these appear to be some sort of die scratches or polishing marks.
If each individual facet of the columns were that strong, I personally would expect that the outline of the full column would be more pronounced.
If it was, it would have been a counter clash of some sort.
The area between the columns (bays) should be flush with the die flat field area and all devices (objects and letters) are engraved or punched into the working die.
So, the bays are subject to polishing lines and die scratches more than the devices themselves.
Let's see what others think.
