  • 1953 D Lincoln Cent w/ Possible RPM?

Hi, First time poster here. I was trying to determine if a certain 1953 D Lincoln cent I have might be a RPM variety. I reviewed varietyvista's vast array of RPM's, but could not find a definitive match with my coin, but thought that the 007 variety was the most similar to my coin in certain ways. I was hoping that someone might be able to review the attached photos and let me know if you think this may be a RPM or just a plain old cent with an odd mint mark. Thanks in advance. 1953 D Cent Possible RPM Obverse.jpg 1953 D Cent Possible RPM Reverse.jpg 1953 D Closeup of Mint Mark.jpg 1953 D Closeup of Die Chip on T of CENT.jpg 1953 D Closeup of Right Wheat.jpg

The mintmark position is not the same for 007. It could be some other type of die anomaly (e.g., die gouge), or an unlisted RPM. Once we are up in running it will need to be sent in for attribution.
