    ATB DDO Quarter?

    Hello!

I am new to this forum but not to numismatics, I have found several varieties in circulation, and I am a member of CONECA.
I recently found a 2020-P Salt River Bay ATB quarter that I believe is a DDO. Notice the extra thickness of "GOD". Here are my questions about it:
    is it actually a DDO?
If so, is it a die stage of DDO-001 because it doesn't look as severe as the one shown on varietyvista

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

This is a doubled die and is not the same as DDO-001. However, I know of one person in a Facebook coin group that found one similar or the same as this, and he might have sent it off already. I can get that information from him if you'd like.

OK! He says he does plan to send it to Wexler. You could send yours to a CONECA attributer. I really can't tell if his is from the same die as yours without being able to see die markers for both, but the doubling does look extremely similar. Taking into account how rare doubling in IGWT is for ATB quarters, I'm willing to bet it's from the same die.

It's not DDO-001. I am not detecting anything beyond a little weakness in the strike which might look a little like extra thickness. Maybe there is a little something in IN GOD. It might be able to be looked at when we open the quarters for attributions in a few months...
