CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1969 s Jefferson nickel DDO, DDR both

    Hello I am Irene. I am an artist and I started collecting just because I wanted to keep sharp my observation to detail. I loved coins before...now I am addicted .LOL I am a CONECA member. I have this 1969 s nickel in my collection among others...I did not find a similar coin so please take a look.

    The date appears to be MD. I have a tutorial on MD HERE.

    I am not sure on the reverse. What area are we looking for some sort of doubling?
