CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1970s large over small?

    do these look like maybe one or both could be the variety that has a large over a small date?should i sent them to the expert?

      I know these are both large dates,but i am hoping that one of them could be a 1970s-1do-002p-class 1.I also have SORE EYES!and I want to find a variety so badly I could SCREAM!!

        Can you get a closer picture of the date..I know what you mean about finding errors,it took me awhile to find my first one now i have about 1000+ in about 2 years...
