No I 1974-D Clad Eisenhower Dollar
We've all seen faded letters on coins, for me, mostly dimes and pennies--this 1971-D Eisenhower Dollar TAKES the faded award of the year--at the most angles, the "I" virtually disappears into the field, TRULY invisable, as if never punched--tilt the coin, and a mere ghost image barely shows---it is 98% missing--to the left of the N is a twin bar-shaped notch, where, apparently the die struck over twice, --so, you have the miniscule faded I, followed by a receded Matching I that actually dips into the metal base, then the N---go figure!---Calvin Goddard
