i have been thinking about having this slabbed and then submitting to a good auction, which grading and auction service would be the best to send it to?

As an official club website, we cannot favor one grading company over another. But if you contact me at mdia1@aol.com, I can give you my personal opinion.

      Hi All,
On another forum we recently had a core of a "Magician's coin posted. It was a machined piece dated 1919 (Winged Liberty Head dime obverse) on one side and bonded to the reverse of a wheat ears cent. It would have been the piece that fits into a hollowed out Lincoln cent to complete the illusion.

Might this be the same coin?

      Thanks,
      Bill

KY Wonder has a genuine double denomination error. Its appearance is completely unlike the sort of fraudulent chimaera that you're describing.

          Hi Mike,

That's GREAT! Excellent discovery! As mentioned, we recently had an 11 cent piece on another forum:-) that was not genuine.

I did not realize that the small picture up there was a picture of the coin. I thought it was an avatar and didn't pay much attention to it:-)

          Thanks,
          Bill
