1976S silver business strike Eisenhower clashed

I do like the clashed coins. This one just finished grading at PCGS. I await its return.

I have it in a guess the grade post on the PCGS forum, when that is over I will update this post with the PCGS grade.

    Hope you all enjoy.

Not a fan of Ike's but that had to be the best one that I've seen. Very nice coin and clash.

Looking at some of the MS66 I would have guessed MS67. I wonder if that clashed took away from the grade.

The strength of the strike plays into their grading. On the obverse there is a spot within the hair of Ike. Around LIBERTY there appears to be some light abrasions, especially near the B. Typically pcgs grades kind of easy, not sure what other factors they considered unless the coin is a little hazy.

Graders are human too, maybe they all had a bad day...
