CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    I'm looking to match my 1937 S buffalo nickel to RPM006. Photos of both are attached. Your thoughts?

    Looks like a match to on Variety Vista bit Im not completely sure. Heres markers from Wexlers site: Obverse: NNE/SSW die scratch along the left center of the 7 in the date. Reverse: Lathe scratch from the left lower side of the mound running above the rim to the secondary mintmark

    See any of them markers? It looks close to me but I cant say for sure. Doubleddie.com has an earlier stage so you can see where the actual RPM is. Its South and slightly rotated. Maybe try the light at different angles.

        Your 2nd pic I think I see the repunch. Your attribution might be correct. The area that you put arrows to is wrong in the original post. The repunch is lower to the S/SE and slightly rotated. Almost in the slope up to the rim
