Interesting mintmark on 1937D pcgs ms66 buffalo nickel

    Hello,
I have a 1937D pcgs ms66 buffalo nickel in an OGH and thought its mintmark was worthy of sharing on this forum.

The images show the lower reverse of this coin at three slightly different tilted views. I don't think the mintmark looks just like any of the known 1937D RPM's I have seen on Variety Vista, but there may well be an underlying D tilted to the southeast on this coin. I must say on my first glance at this my pulse quickened a bit because I initially thought I might be seeing an S, as it does give an illusion of that. But I don't think that's what this is.

    Any comments?

Good pics but can you get them closer and bigger? Maybe separate the pics? Sure looks interesting. One looks like a D, then a D with a scratch, then an S over D. Really dont know from the picture

Edit: Ok...I downloaded the picture and it zoomed in pretty good. Looks like it took a hit on the MM
