CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    2004 Cent DDR?

    Got this one early this morning. Unsure again if DD or machine doubling.

    The small "line" on the left side of column # 7 is indeed a doubled die. While fairly common (there have been over 700 different die examples from 1996 to the present), I still think that they are neat and a comprehensive collection can be made with this type of die anomaly.

    The anomaly on the left side of column # 12 appears to be a die scratch.
