CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Hi...1928 DDO

I finally made it here, hello to all I do think I found a beauty! Can I get some input from the more knowledgeable. Hope I spelled that right. I'm sure you all know this, click on it to make it bigger. Not the greatest, but it sure proves it to me?!
    Thanks, Teryble

Hi Teryble and welcome to the CONECA forum. Hope to see you here as a regular.

Now for the question at hand. The 1928 Lincoln in your post does seem to have some promise, however, I can not be sure it is a DDO by the pictures. If you would like, since you have my address and live close by, just send it in the mail and I'll take a look at it and we will both know for sure.
