1920 P Wheat Back Striaght Clip?

when I first began hunting coin rolls i image_25084.jpg found this guy.
This was actually the first coin I considered a possible error.
after alot of research on the different styles in clipped planchets, I ran across the how to identify striaght clipped planchets blog.
pretty much key indicator was the device's sucking/tampered into the clipped area. The rim to me looks like it but I never confirmed it with professionals.
also I can't find any 1920P striaght clipped to compare to..
    Thanks All!

I think it is good. There is something called the Blakely effect that should show up. The affect area around the clip is weak and that is a good sign. Since the coin is almost 100 years old that clip should be worn down some and the metal should not be shiny.

Also just about every clip will be different since the punching machine and humans feeding it back in the day worked to and from the process. All sorts of clips existed if they pushed to hard or if they held back too much.

It is a minor amount but a clip nonetheless.

Nice find. I agree. It looks legit to me. Dont see too many this old with a clip. I had a minor one on a 1919 but this one is much more than mine was.
