1930-s Lincoln cent dbl-die?
Hi folks. Not completely new to the site, but I haven't been here for a LONG time. Anyway, I've got me what looks like a 30-s Lincoln with a doubled die. Sorry that I haven't got a better photo, but you can see what you need to see. The mint-mark and the "9" are clearly doubled, and so is the top of the "1," although it's very hard to see. Everything else looks normal. I'm no expert about these things, so I would welcome any comments from y'all. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Mintmarks were added after the working dies were created, so in this instance, it probably does not relate to the doubled die.
At http://varietyvista.com, there is only one DDO for the 1930-S year, and this isn't it.

Same for https://coppercoins.com
Photos are best shown here at 90 degree angles, so we can download them and enhance them and flip them upright if we need to.
The photo's are just too grainy to tell if this is machine doubling, but in my opinion, I suspect it is machine doubling.Gary Kozera
