I see doubling under the tail. I compared to others I have and this was not present. Also the grasses look wider and appear to have split serifs that are very hard to photograph. I believe I see doubling on KISATCHI with split serifs and notching on the top of the letters. Of course, I could be wrong! Thank you for your help.

2015 D Kisatchi ATB Louisiana Quarter - DDR?
Hi I am still going through some coins for a friend found this possible double die. Definitely need the expert opinion. Sorry for the pics, not great and having some trouble today

The reverse, if I remember correctly, have all of the letters incused ( stamped into the metal, instead of raised) near the rim. In the state quarter series, I found handfuls of quarters with this weird incused issue. The people who responded basically stated it was a form of machine doubling. The die attempts to dig the letters into the metal and the die shifts some.
As for the rest of the coin, yes, it is difficult to see on the photos to see what is going on. I do remember coins like the Hawaii state quarter was riddled with die chips on several dies. If I can find a good example of the Denali or Hawaii incused issue, I will add a post about them.
I held onto a few of mine, but, only the ones that were kinda extreme. All the others over time, I got rid of.Gary Kozera

Thank you MintErrors for the response. Yes the letters are incuse, which makes it even more difficult! My understanding is the affect is the opposite of doubling on raised lettering. It makes the devices appear thinner I believe. I put in a 2 x 2 for my friend to hold onto. Looks promising to me

@considine
Take a look at this Denali quarter, It probably has the same type issues with the incused lettering...

I have other better photos here some where - probably buried in a massive pile of 1's and 0's on a flash drive or hard drive.Gary Kozera

Thank you for the example MintErrors. Your example presents a little differently than mine and is more similar to this example from error ref.com -Coin courtesy of Alex Tuel which shows incuse Machine Doubling. I am also attaching pictures from error ref.com of incuse Doubling on an Idaho quarter. Not sure it helps since the spread is more obvious but the H in Idaho appears similar.
I have put arrows by those areas I am wondering about on my photo.
