I am looking at a bright white 1961D Franklin Half that I took out of a mint set years ago.It appears to be a WRPM-002. Die Markers: Obverse: A WNW/ESE die scratch above GOD(seems to be several on the subject coin). Reverse: Short die gouge between the lower N and I in UNITED. Die scratches run NW from the eagle’s head and the top of the eagle’s left wing (Faint but there with an anomaly in the middle). Thoughts or comments?

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
