  • 1995 DDO DDR Penny?

    Hi All,
I have a 1995 penny which looks doubling everything, but I am not too sure. Is it a doubled struck as well? Can someone help?
You do not have permission to view this gallery.
    This gallery has 2 photos.

It's been 27 years and no one has reported a ddo and ddr for this year.

In my opinion, this is just a heavily worn coin. With possible environmental damage.

It could have been exposed to high heat as well. Potentially a dryer coin.
it has that puffy look to it. No other way i can describe it.

if you had used a search engine and searched for 1995 double die obverse a lot of photos depicting the 1995 ddo would show up. The ddos were pressed into metal dies so where the doubling is evident, and that doubling should be on this coin as well. Bluntly... this coin is not a candidate for a ddo or ddr. The links below show a 1995 ddo die 1.
