My 1858 flying eagle
I’ve had this coin for awhile now but just today decided to scope it. I’ve tried to research this but can’t find anything in regards. It looks to me that there is an additional eagle head on the coin underneath the bird itself. Could someone give me there opinion thanks in advance. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

No, I don't believe so. Here is why. You have two different heights here.
On the die, the eagle is incused, or sunk into the die. Then we have the flat part of the coin, the field.
you would have to do some magic for 2 different levels sharing one image.
To have some sort of ghostly image like that, in an abnormal position means it should show signs of being off center if it was struck more than once.
There are more negatives about this than possibilities.
If an overlay was done about this, it would probably show how jacked up this coin would have to be, position-wise in order to make the issue stick.
