CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 1958 Lincoln Cent possible ddo?

I am new, and not a member yet. I noticed the die was different on this coin. Is it a ddo? I appreciate any input, thank you 20221030_002928~2.jpg

OK, a die being different how ?
Every die is different, and they used 100's of dies throughout the year.
Each die pair makes hundreds of thousands of coins before they are removed from service.

Since you have the coin in hand, where on the coin do you see potential doubling?
I have two posts in my signature that might be helpful.
The second even helps people attribute (identify) which variety it is.

I will offer a link which shows 1958 doubled dies, but this is far from the one that is rare.
The pick up points are LIBERTY, and IN GOD WE
