CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Not sure about this one. The 2 appears damaged as well as the D mintmark, there is chatter, almost halo like close to the rim, which may indicate coin rolling or coin counter damage.

The eye is either impaired with extra metal, debris or they are die cracks.
The areas look raised and not incused (sunk in), so it would rule out most strike through scenarios.

Hi , Thank You for looking at my post , I should have explained that those are four different Quarters with the area around the eye. I have opened up about a half of box of these Quarters so far and the majority of them have what I’d call a fat 2 and a broken D with the noticeable line on the bottom. I have only pulled out about 20 Quarters that have the normal 2 at the end of the date. I would appreciate any advice on what I can do to get the proper definition of the error taking place to damage so many 2’s and the mint mark , also on Wilma’s face. Thanks

The eye looks like die chips, the damage D and 2 are closer to the rim. Look for a light halo style ring around the edge of the coin where the 2 and D are. There might be subtle hints of additional damage around the coin about the same distance, where that halo is. If so it is a coin rolling machine or coin counter that damaged the coin. That would add no value to it.

Taking a quick look at it, that is a possibility on the obverse.

The reverse appears to be die chips. The die may be in an early phase of die failure. Die Chips start, then come die cracks and eventual die replacement.

Knowing the minting process is crucial, then understanding what to look for will can make a error collector smarter and wise. Knowledge is key.

A book called The error encyclopedia by Arnold Margolis is available from time to time and it's a great book.

In my opinion, more than likely, if those areas a slightly raised, those are die chips or extra metal of some sort. Maybe some error collector who really really really wants will buy you a morning coffee for one of those. CONECA staff frowns on talking prices, so I give very loose and generic ideas when it comes to expectations.
