If you want opinions on your coin, you can post them here. This area is for members to give opinions. Discoveries are typically linked to varieties, but a error can qualify if the right conditions are met.

If we are talking about a new doubled die, repunched mint mark, repunched date, over date, over mintmark or overdate..... those are varieties. Just about everything else may be an error. Post it in the respective forum area.

The opinions are turned off in the CONECA Services area, just in case something rare, unique or simply embarrassing happens. It keeps the service focused on the member, vice any one else. You get to have a one on one with the CONECA staff.

To use CONECA for an attribution or examination....


Go to the main page of this forum, click on the FORUMS tab to the top left.
Find the CONECA SERVICES area.
If it an error, go to the EXAMINATIONS area to post.
If it a variety, go to the ATRRIBUTIONS area to post.

I highly suggest adding as much info as you can about the coin, as well as a full obverse, full reverse and photos of the areas in question. Make sure the photos are not blurry. They do not have to be extremely close up. The more the better.... one does not know how long it will take a CONECA staff to make another pass at past forum attributions/examinations.
