My brother has me going through his pennies he's been saving for years. I came across this one and can't tell (looks like it to me) if it's a DDO or not. Looked on Variety Vista but there is nothing listed for a 1977. Could this be a new find?

I agree with PNWMAKES , in my opinion, it's not a ddo.
The area is lower and shelf like.
There are no split serifs nor added thickness.
Although a new find is not impossible, it is highly improbable. It's been over 45 years, so odds are slim.Last edited by MintErrors; 01-22-2023, 11:14 PM.
