CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Mercury Dime 1935

    I'm trying to match this 1935 mercury dime to WDDO-002 based on the marked areas of the 9 and 3 in the photo of the date. Can anyone offer their thoughts?

    yours kinda looks like MD but after looking at how minor the doubling is on the ddo2 and your images aren't good enough (imo) for such minor doubling, i can't say 100% one way or another but i'm leaning towards not. it may be a good idea to try and find high resolution images of an actual example, not on variety vista and compare from those.
