CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I found this nice '64 P, it has a couple of die marks - though they're pretty faint. A small dot/bar under the L of Liberty and a small bar over the right side of the 4. All of the devices on the obverse look pretty thick/doubled to me. I can't quite match it up with anything - any thoughts?

I believe in 1964 most cents coined at P D and S mints had minor doubling. https://doubleddie.com/779197.html

I look at this coin and first thing I noticed was the off center Nw/Se stamping of it, and the areas of the date you pointed to look to be spread/squish, as I used to call it, that always made me think of doubling when it wasn't. I see the dot under the L but it may be in part due to the off center strike and the resulting flow of metal. I wish I knew more about this stuff... I am still so new to this forum and studying pics to try to learn, so I offer my dos centavos. good luck with it.
