CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Maybe because the picture in VV appears to have much more ware and is in black and white vs an AU coin in digital color? Or maybe not.
      thanks for you opinion.

Thanks for showing the very worn and blurry varityvista image. If you read above the images In the header on the rpm page you copied from, it states that a new specimen in digital imaging color is needed. If you look into the AU coin you can see beginnings of the worn out version you posted. It Has the cracks side to side the narrows at the top. The SE underlay. You could probably see the lower crack in the image you posted if there was not so much crud in the lower inner portion. Of course the cracks would vary with ware and smear but surely you jest to think the mint mark looked like your copy and paste when it left the mint?
          thank you for your response.
